For All Students
All lessons are taught at the Lakeshore Conservatory of Music, located at 2370 Lakeshore Blvd W in Etobicoke.
Lesson fees are based on length rather than subject - so feel free to mix and match voice, piano, and theory within your lesson time!
Recommended Lesson Lengths:
30 minutes – Best for young beginners in piano.
45 minutes – Perfect for adult beginners in piano and singers of all ages.
60 minutes – Ideal for students who want to combine voice and piano, or for more advanced work.
If you already have some experience, we’ll discuss your goals during your trial lesson and decide what lesson length works best for you. Whether you’re starting fresh or returning to music, I’ll help you design a plan tailored to your needs.
At Lakeshore Conservatory, I offer three different lesson models so that every student — from young beginners to seasoned professionals — can find the right fit. Whether you thrive with a consistent weekly routine, prefer the flexibility of booking as you go, or just need a short burst of lessons, there’s an option designed for you.
Weekly lessons are the perfect choice for most students, offering a consistent and structured learning experience with a guaranteed spot reserved just for you from September to June. This model is ideal for building steady progress, developing strong musical habits, and enjoying all the benefits of being part of a vibrant music community.
Best for: Students of all ages and levels who want steady growth and accountability.
Inspired by the musical flourish of a cadenza, these lessons are designed for motivated, independent learners who want maximum flexibility. As a Cadenza student, you have unlimited access to the online booking system throughout the year. Lessons are scheduled at your convenience, though availability varies week to week. You’ll also enjoy full participation in studio events, recitals, and workshops — all while keeping control of your own schedule.
Best for: Singers, professionals, and advanced students who thrive on independence and flexibility.
Need a quick boost? Spotlight Lessons are a short package of 1–4 prepaid sessions, perfect for audition prep, tackling a specific project, or simply trying things out. These lessons are booked directly through me and are not part of the ongoing studio membership. They’re a great low-commitment way to get focused support when you need it.
Best for: Students seeking a short-term boost, visiting learners, or those testing the waters before committing further.
Everyone has a voice worth developing - my goal is to help you (or your child) discover how to use it with confidence and artistry. Whether you’re brand new to singing or looking to refine your skills, our lessons will focus on building healthy technique, expressive performance, and genuine musical joy.
Each lesson blends three core elements:
Technique: Strengthening breath support, tone, and vocal health.
Repertoire: Exploring songs from a variety of styles and traditions.
Musicianship: Growing skills in rhythm, diction, expression, and interpretation.
As a professional opera singer who performs internationally, I bring real-world experience to every lesson. I also prepare students for RCM examinations, festivals, competitions, and auditions for universities or productions.
Most students begin voice lessons around age 8, though exceptions are made for younger learners who demonstrate readiness and enthusiasm. Whether your goal is a professional career or simply the joy of singing well, lessons are tailored to your individual path.
Playing the piano is about more than pressing keys - it’s about making music and creating art. With a strong technique and a thoughtful practice routine, the music in your head can truly come to life.
Each lesson is crafted to build well-rounded musicianship, focusing on:
Technique: Developing the skills to play with confidence and ease.
Musicianship: Strengthening rhythm, harmony, and expressive control.
Repertoire: Exploring music across genres, tailored to your interests and goals.
I prepare students for RCM examinations, festivals, and competitions, while also supporting those who simply want to play for personal enjoyment. Lessons are always adapted to the needs and aspirations of each student.
All piano lessons are taught in-studio, and students must have a keyboard or piano at home for consistent practice. Whether you’re just beginning or building on existing skills, I’ll help you grow as a musician while enjoying the art of playing the piano.
Music theory is an essential foundation for any musician, whether you're learning piano, voice, or focusing exclusively on theoretical studies. While theory preparation is integrated into piano and voice lessons, I also offer standalone theory lessons tailored to those preparing for university entrance or RCM theory examinations.
Under the umbrella of Theory Lessons, I provide preparation for:
Whether you're aiming to deepen your musical understanding or fulfill academic requirements, I’ll guide you step-by-step to help you achieve your goals.
